Immediate title shot because of semi-fluke loss and his great career? Does he need 1, 2 wins?
In my opinion it wouldn't be terrible if he got an immediate shot, it'd be similar to Edgar vs Henderson twice then Aldo. I wouldn't feel cheated. I would however like to see him fight a guy who's been close but never got a shot while he was champ like Bisping or Munoz.

I'd like to see the 2 of them fight at 180ish, and let everyone know beforehand that it will be the last time you see either in the Octagon. Induct them to the HoF the week before the fight, have a great celebration, Georges takes Anderson down for five rounds or Anderson kicks Georges in the head and we call it a night.

Well, let's put it this way: I don't think Anderson would return in the first place, UNLESS he got the immediate title shot. So I think 'yes,' if he returns he gets it. Does he deserve it? Yes. He's the GOAT and who wouldn't want to watch it.
After all, we know title shots aren't all about meritocracy but rather what folks are interested in watching. He-llo, Chael getting a title shot against Jones... in a division in which he'd never fought?!

I'd like to see him fight Shogun. After a year off and a devastating injury, I think that fight would be pretty even and incredible to watch
