This one’s a touch out of the ordinary since it was completely about artistic direction. The Goulds were exhausted & the biggest part of that was playing music they didn’t like. Philip had been sneaking in lyrics about it for years.

Usually it’s because of perceived or real financial inequity or the love affair is over. This wasn’t that.

Interesting, I might look it up. Yes, the example I gave of Spandau Ballet was about financial inequity.
