He's now lost 3 of his last 4 fights. Is Chuck going to have to settle for a gatekeeper role in the LHW division?

I'm just being honest. And 2 of those 3 losses were against guys who weren't considered to be tops in the division until they beat him.
I think retirement is an option, or a gatekeeper role to bide his time until another chance arises to make a title run.
Considering the flux in the UFC LHW division, pretty much any fighter is two wins away from the title. Despite everything, Chuck is still in the mix, but he will have to shore up some gaping holes in his game.
I see a third fight with Tito in the near future - last chance at relevancy.
perhaps he should consider leaving the pit, and training with a new camp.
although i don't think that would ever happen...chuck seems like a really loyal guy

What's sad about what you just said is that the fight would still make a shitload of $ from all the casuals.
I might actually go with Tito this time around by decision.

I know you are being honest! truth hurts
he's not a gatekeeper...he's losing too much and his chin to finicky these days...he's just going to keep losing against emerging talent. He needs to retire.
