What does your lifting routine look like?
The major game changer for me has been timing my rests and adding sprints every 4 exercises. Usually do 12 total exercises, so three sets of 30 second sprints with 30 second jog/walks for 3 minutes. Low rest intervals. 15 secs, 30 secs, and 60 secs for big lifts (squats, clean and press). Knealing zottman curls, reverse curls with z bar, lat pull downs, bench press, low incline dumbell press, cable split squats, heels elevated back squats, clean and press, bent over dumbell rows, and a few others. It's worked really well for me.
Oh yeah exercises are not done in that order
Olympic lifts and Yoga
Sub
Bodyweight, Isometrics , and Dynamic Tension.
5x5, squat and bench.
5x5, deadlifts and weighted pull ups.
Turkish Getups for core/working off your back
Swings for hip strength/top game
Rows (bent over & upright) for gi sleeve/lapel control
Lots of asymmetric exercises (like suitcase deadlifts) for core.
Snatches because they're just cool to do (and say).
Neck bridges were the best thing that has helped my bjj.
