Like John Henry:Will the hammer be death of Rich?

We all know that the hammer was the death of John Henry, even after taking many poundings from the folklorian behemoth, but will Rich Franklin's career also his a snare much like John Henry's hammer pounding days did when Rich squares off against Matt "The Hammer" Hamill at UFC 88?

My thoughts: People are underrating Rich and overrating The Hammer. I think Matt's a great fighter, but Franklin is not going to be his coming out party. He will be dismantled by the 2nd round.

I think you are correct.

Captain Insano X - I think you are correct.

Thanks. I just don't see the greatness there yet in Matt Hamill other than potential and great skills.

I don't see the proof based off of fights whereas Franklin has the high level experience. Hamill had troubles with Boetsch until he took Tim down and TKO'd the tired, gassed fighter.

I'm a fan of Matt, and will be pulling for him to win, but I don't see it happening against Rich.

Sure, Rich looked bad against Silva, but who doesn't?

Matt doesn't really have good head movement and I think Rich will pick him apart, however, I am prediciting a Franklin win by submission.

I agree that Franklin will probably win but I will be pulling for Matt to pull off the upset. He really got royally screwed in his fight against Bisping. However, if Matt can take Rich down, this is only a three round fight so he could possibly win by decision.

Franklin's footwork is too good, he will pick Hamill apart.

as a cincy native this fight sucks!

love both fighters but im not sure who to pull for
