...people who bet money on Rashad or Rashad fans?
I hear a lot of complaints about how terrible it is, but Lil Nog landed all the significant punches, some good kicks, and decent combos.
Is it his fault Rashad wanted to pay patty cake while running away from exchanges? Lil Nog brought the fight and seeing him beat a caliber of fighter on Rashad's level in the UFC was a thing of beauty for this nostalgic Pride fan.
I guess I enjoyed it, maybe because it went how I expected it to.
I wanted lil nog to win and I enjoy the fight.
Didn't care who won, was just upset with Rashad's performance.
He could have won fighting like that, and I still would have been upset.

X2
Common, top grinder, Lil Nog has always been a great fighter but loses here and there. Have you watched UFC more than a few years?
"Hashad Evans not hungry fo fight."
It was one sided (I mean too defensive and tentative by Rashad), which means the action kept stopping and starting. It wasn't the worst fight but Rashad made it worse than it should have been.
Rashad fans be mad lol.
Nog was piecing him and implemented his gameplan. It takes two to fight. I've even seen people say "neither fighter deserved to win" and how they both looked like garbage. If Rashad wants to stand there that isnt Nog's fault, Nog was doing exactly what he wanted.
People were overrating Rashad and can't handle the fact that they were wrong. I can gladly say I was one of the few not overlooking Nogueira in this fight
TopGrinder -It sucked cause only one fighter showed up and it wasn't the good one even...
Lil Nog not a good fighter, you crazy?
Guy always comes to fight, just hasnt been matched with many guys who want to fight since he came to the UFC.
Lets see Lil Nog against someone like GLover or a Shogun rematch
I 100% feel like rashad is the reason it's considered a bad fight, he did nothing. Do people just expect nog to rush forward into a takedown? He has already been screwed in multiple fights where he was the aggressor and lost because of takedowns alone.

Exactly. When you fight guys who only objective is to steal rounds you have to fight a bit safe yourself.
No more wrestlers in Lil Nogs career please, lets ee him put on some classic fights before he retires
I honestly feel like lil nog is undefeated in the ufc. Phil Davis and Bader both did absolutely nothing besides score a few takedowns, that they did nothing with.

They are wasting his career on lay n prayers. He has had 1 ufc fight that wasn't against a wrestler and he dominated. 6 fights in the ufc 5 of them being against wrestlers.

Correct. It takes two to fight. People are bashing Nog but he implemented his gameplan, to keep the fight standing and use his boxing.
If people overrated Rashad that's their problem, it doesn't take away from Nog. Why Nog was considered a gimme fight when Rashad barely got past an injured Thiago Silva? Only they can answer that

Both were really close to me. But its the unified rules you knew the wrestler was going to get the nod

I was rooting for Lil Nog but I was still super frustrated by Rashad's dismal non-performance.
Once Lil Nog easily shrugged off Rashad's shots, Rashad seemed to be completely lost. He had no Plan B and just stood there doing NOTHING. Except his silly "head movement" that is flashy but horribly ineffective.
I feel like Overeem and Rashad both were way too passive, and had absolute shit gameplans, which caused both to lose against inferior opponents. I don't know if that's coincidence or if the coaches at Blackzilians are just that foolish.
lil rampage got CREtired - When homeboy said Rich Franklin didn't know what it took to be Champion it was funny watching him forget how to fight period.
Huh? Did Rashad really say that? I find it hard to believe Rashad would say something so stupid.

I think it was MMAmath that made them confident - Lil Nog got outwrestled by Davis, and Rashad showed he was a much better wrestler than Davis.
What they neglected was that Lil Nog's TDD was clearly evolving a lot every fight. Because it's not as if Lil Nog was blind to the fact that they kept giving him wrestlers. And he has good wrestling coaches (Davis himself used to be Rogerio's coach).
I still thought Rashad should have won that fight on the feet though - his speed advantage over Lil Nog was huge. Yet he did fuck all. He threw a sloppy overhand every 45 seconds and otherwise did nothing. I was watching that fight and thinking, WTF is Rashad doing??
I mean was Rashad just terrified of engaging in the pocket or what? Does he have zero faith in his own chin? I can't figure it out.
I was hoping Lil Nog would win but I still expected a better performance from Rashad. He looked absolutely horrible.

Lil nog is NOT an inferior fighter to Rashad, which is evidenced through the fight.
Rashad has really only impressed one time in his whole career and that was vs Phil Davis.
