I got great feedback on the one I did last weekend for Shogun x Bones, but I gotta be honest ... my phone and my car died this week, I had a million little problems here and there while working overtime, and I'm just not feeling this one.
I had to cram a ton of work into just a few hours, and it shows. Feedback is welcome; I gotta run.
I dont even need to read it to know that UJ walks ALL round the block b4 pickin his setimental favorite to win. Dont try to change it now cuz I figure you out like how BJ cant beat Frankie now. Im landin jabs on you at will like bzzz
loved your last analysis & this, thanks!
unfortunatly, i think davis's takedowns are the deciding factor in what i believe will be a decsion

I agree 100% on everything with the minor adjustment that I try to walk ALL round the block "objectively" before I burst with fanboyism.
P.S. You forgot to make "Psshhhh!" sounds with your jab.
Davis wins this fight 98% of the time. Nog cannot win by decision given the skill sets and gameplans, Nog must finish to win this fight. Nog will be on his back for 99% of this fight.
Sorry, but your analysis is flawed in many ways.
Davis be easy decision, or by late stoppage. A completely dominating performance by Phil Davis, by decision is my exact prediction.

Thats because I go "sssst" when I punch thats what good boxers eg mexicans do
ssst ssst
At his age and with the mileage he has put on his body, it's a mistake to not take into consideration the extent of Nog's physical deterioration from his prime.
His speed and reflexes have clearly declined to the astute observer and it will cost you dearly if you compare a prime Nog with a prime Davis.
Just imo.
Nog will WIN
THE CACTUS KID - Nog will WIN
I don't see it. I love the Nogs, but the old lions aren't doing well against the young lions lately.....
Davis by domination....not a close fight, but domination.
Tenor still 10ing - At his age and with the mileage he has put on his body, it's a mistake to not take into consideration the extent of Nog's physical deterioration from his prime.

The "old school vs. new school" theme is referenced throughout the entire article to address the high mileage + vast experience vs. inexperienced, younger fighter. So that's taken into consideration many times.
His speed and reflexes have declined in your opinion. Of course he's slowed down, just as any athlete whose been competing for a decade at the top level would, which is why there is not one allusion to Nog being "prime"; so I'm not sure where you're interpreting that from.
He recently KO'd Luis Cane, and stopped almost 70% of Bader's TD's. The fight he looked bad in was against Brilz.
As for your first post, it's kinda worthless because you're just stating your opinion like they're predetermined facts and saying I'm wrong.
Awesome analysis again, really appreciate the time you put into these!
I disagree with your prediction (I've got Davis by decision), but I totally respect and see where you're coming from.
Look forward to more of these, really great stuff you are doing here.

Thanks man. I was all fucked up and disjointed this week, and only had about half the time I normally do. I appreciate it though.
Please pay more attention to the analysis than the prediction. I honestly stay completely unbiased in that part, but -- and I know this is weird -- but there are certain fighters I just can't pick against. It just takes all the fun out of it for me.
So my analysis indicates Nog only has a slim chance to use his footwork and keep from being pressed against the fence. Every other area (besides hitting a sweep) is all Davis.
To be honest, I'm just sick of seeing my old favorites getting beat up, so I'm unbiased through everything but the end. Picking Nog is like a hail mary in this case. I think he's probably fully aware the cards are stacked against him and the judges will "score it for the top guy or the one who lands any takedowns even if he misses ten", so he might break tradition and get a little more reckless by unloading on his feet.
Or basically insert what Fake Rassler said in his first post. ;)
