two questions - how thick is the collar?
and, at 5'10", 170# with arms an inch or so longer than even, it looks like i fall right into A3, but i always end up with short sleeves. what's the sleeve shrinkage like?
It is a medium thickness collar, slightly more padded than average but nit really thick. Our gi's are made if preshrunk cotton. We suggest washing cold and tumbling dry for the first 5 rolls to be extra sure to break it in correctly.
Another trick is to wear it around the house still slightly damp, do some stretching in it and move around then hang it to air dry after the first couple rolls.
