When I saw them square off with no gloves I was like "WTF?" But if they aren't allowed to strike.... I don't see what the problem is.

old news is well...at least it counts as a post. My boy is now 5 and is growing as he should with Muay Thai as a kid his age with mild autism. He knows, as Kru Ruben Rowell JR. taught me ..ONLY in the ring... I see they are doing it right... well for young buttscooters ;)

Sure there is no striking but you can't put an 8 year old in that enviromemt.
I played hockey in small towns my entire childhood, and I can tell you that is exactly what it was like.

My thoughts are that you're an idiot for calling it cage fighting when they are clearly ONLY GRAPPLING. Not to mention, of course, that even if they were fighting, it's called mixed martial arts, moron.
That wasn't cage fighting, that was a grappling match inside a cage. I see that all the time around here in CA, when the mats are being used, they do it in the cage.
Those images had a huge impact yesterday here in Belgium and France showcased on majors channels even if it was just a grappling match. The most of them who watched it and don't no a clue about mma had negative thoughts about it. That's not really good for legalizing mma in France. Even my grandmother came to me "Dididi did you saw those kids in the cage on television ? Huh ? What an awful sport is this !!!!!! Is this the sport you practice ?? Im like "Yeah but you no it'sssss !!!" Slap !! "Go to you're room you barbare human being !!!!" LOL im 25 years old ! Huge impact over here :-p

I know what it is. But this was presented as i described in europe. I know it does not represent what these kids are doing in the cage. Here in europe they still find it hard to see things like this. And many countries still have to accept mma.
