I feel like the whole LI rape thing wasn't as big of a news story to the rest of the world as it was the UG. Everyone around here knows the story and rightfully thinks LI is a piece of shit. But I don't think a lot of people in the industry paid much attention to the whole ordeal. Or at least it doesn't seem that way to me.
Doesn't help when Rogan calls him "respected".
It's true, not long after the whole thing first broke, Joe was giving him props on a UFC broadcast. But I think even Rogan doesn't necessarily know the whole story, otherwise I think he would certainly not promote someone like that.
joe knows the whole story, he said lloyd irvin called him and earned back his support
Are you sure that wasn't an older situation where Joe had made fun of Lloyd's sketchy websites that looked like something from the 90's?
yeah that was it. then lloyd called him and convinced joe to be a baller instead of a hater
To Joe's credit that was before the rape "scandal" broke out, wasn't it?

Ever since the LI stuff came out, and Easton chose to remain loyal to him, I've hoped he would lose every fight.
Considering he's the only DMV fighter currently in the UFC(as far as I'm aware), it sucks to have to root against the guy, but his personal loyalty to a terrible person makes him a POS.
There is that old proverb about you being known by the company you keep.
It reflects poorly on anyone who has not completely dropped any association with TLI, and honestly it looks bad on the whole sport that LI has not been shunned by the UFC.

It doesnt make Easton a POS in my eyes.
At the end of the day, he has a career to consider.
I assume he sticks with Irvin because he legitimately believes Llyod gives him his best chance to reach his goals within the sport.
Now I dont agree with that myself.
I think there are better trainers out there without the controversial background Irvin has.
But I am also not the one paying Eastons bills so IMO I cant really judge his decisions when it comes to his career!
TheJudge - I was similarly taken aback by that and the fact that limp lloyd was his big sponsor. Since this is Easton's 3rd loss in a row here's hoping he's cut. Sorry Mike, I don't know you from adam but cannot endorse anyone still with TLI. Yes, I know he was quite concerned about my endorsement...
Agreed, cut Easton and anyone that works with Llimp

This is litterally the only person in the UFC that i want to lose badly. he can still redeem himself by putting down the Kool-aid.
there are plenty of bad apples in the pro sports today yet Lloyd gets the biggest hit here...
we got drug users ,rapists, murderers and babymakers all in NBA, MLB and NFL and boxing and people seem to be all for it with 2nd chances n all but nope not Lloyd --he is public enemy number 1

A scumbag in the MMA community garnering more attention on an MMA forum than other scumbag athletes in other sports is common sense.

That's because he is a martial artist and at the core of martial arts is to protect and show self discipline, not rape.

Uh athletes are you referencing in other pro sports that have won back public support after raping and murdering people?
