Our school is AFC BJJ Alabama we are an affiliate of American Fight Club out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am a brown belt under Joe Savoian, a first degree black belt under Paulo Guillobel with an originally Machado lineage. We train at Precision Athletics in Hoover which is owned and operated by our purple belt instructor Brandon Reed (Also a Level I Certified Crossfit Instructor). The school is located at 516 Mineral Trace Hoover al 35244 right next to Regions Park. Our classes are Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm, Saturday at noon (open mat) and Sunday at 3pm. We have an open door policy for all Jiu Jitsu practitioners. If you are a member and train at another school, you are welcome. If you are looking for a BJJ gym come try a few free classes. I know a lot of the local gyms and have trained with many people around town. I have a crazy schedule but I'm always looking to train more and with new people. So, back to the thread title: Where does everyone train or teach, what is your schedule, and what is your policy on drop ins and/or open mats? As I said, I've been to most of the local gyms but its hard to keep up with who trains what and when.
Thanks for the post Lucian. I'll try to stop in one day.
I would post Spartans schedule but its basically from 5am to 8 or 9pm just about every week day. Saturday is usually open mat and Sundays are usually off site training/conditioning
