mandingo1987 - Its funny how connor beats a group of nobodies and all of the sudden hes the best there ever was. Hasnt even fought a top 5 fighterSimple minds and trolls going overboard is all it is.
cumprido1 - A guy who beat edgar and mendes is afraid of an overhyped prospect?A guy who has beaten everyone for nearly a decade.....is afraid. Riiiiight. VU.
I don't think so.

Oh really? I wonder how you will respond to this troll here then.
Aside from the fact that Max Holloway has won 6 straight fights, since Conor manhandled him in lopsided fashion to attain a current top 5 ranking.
Dustin Poirier was top 5 when they fought and Conor completely and thoroughly outclassed him, sort of like how I did you on this thread. Look at your pea head go clattering out of this thread.

"Poirier (16-3) is currently ranked No. 5 among UFC featherweight contenders. He has won three in a row with two straight finishes over Diego Brandao and Akira Corassani. The 25-year-old could be asking to fight someone like No. 2 Cub Swanson or No. 3 Frankie Edgar. Instead, he's going after McGregor by design, though the Irishman is behind him at No. 9."
Who's the troll now bitch?
"THEY ALL WANT IT.. UNTIL THEY GET IT"

Never said the guy was horrible, or that he doesn't have any decent fans; I said that simple minds and trolls go overboard :D
His hype is eons ahead of him and it's funny when trolls run with that and act like he is the second coming and the goat.
Cheerio!
0bamasux - Aldo got out of a PED test then backed out. That's all there is to say he was scared.
NSAC fucked up the drug test not Aldo. He did what was required of him. NSAC tried to pull some shady shit. You cannot go into another jurisdiction and try to enforce things without going through proper channels. NSAC found out the hard way and got their shit pushed in as they should of.

JetSetter -Not a king move indeed - his gym hasn't evolved training and as important BUSINESS wise!hmb - People around here have this all backwards. Conor is taking the too big a step up. I'm sure Aldo was excited to kick Conor's ass, but now he gets to kick back and be the true KING, the true MMA GOAT. Mendes will put the beat down on Conor that he deserves, and Aldo will be sitting poolside. King, the Prince, and the Jester. The court is set. Don't forget.Aldo just walked away from millions. Not a King move you knucklehead.
Mendes by making it look easy.

I disagree. If they go through the proper channels like you suggest it would completely remove the most important part of the test, it being random. Brazil is a corrupt fucking mess and it's not fair to athletes in other countries if they aren't gonna go along with and enforce the new testing guidelines.
mada -I get it. Question: He did piss for the test. Did the urine never get tested? I never heard. At the end of the day IMO if he didn't get tested properly that's bullshit and both NSAC and Aldo own it.Samoa -mada -Did NSAC follow the guidelines to test in another country?Hired Gun -0bamasux - Aldo got out of a PED test then backed out. That's my point. You notify the Brazilian commission that you are coming and it makes the test no longer be a random test. It's a mess.
Yup, the king will be sitting poolside without a check, crying about his boo boo.

So is it ok for the Brazilian Commission to send people into Nevada to do random tests on fighters that are going to fight in Brazil without asking the NSAC to do so?
It's not. Their are proper channels of doing things and NSAC didn't do it.
Aldo pissed as requested. The sample was left sitting in his gym. He's never pissed hot but yet allot of you are saying he's dirty? He's been fighting in the states for years and cleaned out his division. He's arguably the GOAT not only in his division but P4P give the guy the credit he not only deserves but earned.

Not sure.
He pissed as soon as the NSAC Rep got to his gym but the sample was left there and not taken. I still cannot find fault on Aldo's part in this. He did as he was requested.
I'm not disagreeing on the Brazilian Commission being corrupt. To be honest I think both the CSAC and the NSAC have corruption issues as well.
I'm disagreeing with people saying 1) Aldo is dirty as he has never pissed hot in countless drug tests and 2) that this entire mess in Brazil is his fault. He had zero control over what went on down there and pissed as soon as the Rep got there what more is he to do?
Hired Gun - I'm not disagreeing on the Brazilian Commission being corrupt. To be honest I think both the CSAC and the NSAC have corruption issues as well.Right after he pissed for the rep he threw a bitch fit about proper procedure so it didnt matter.

Why does anyone think the nsac has to notify the Brazilian commission before taking a sample?
It's my understanding it was a visa issue, the guy going to take the sample didn't get a visa that allowed him to conduct business/work so he can't take a sample.
What does that have to do with the Brazilian commission? they don't approve visas lol.
Unless im missing something?

Ranked #5 contender means actually #6 overall. Oops.
Max was not top at the time regardless of where he is after they fought.
Lots of short memories around here. Dustin Poirier was the hottest thing going when McGregor dismantled him. He had a ton of hype, there was talk of him getting a title shot, and then he ran into McGregor. He is still a badass, but that loss made him look bad and basically ran him out of the division.
I'm not necessarily predicting a McGregor win, but I think it is highly unlikely that it will be a lopsided win for Mendes, if he wins at all.
Some believe the hype and some disbelieve the hype so much they forget to objectively analyze a fighter's skills and mindset.
