Lol at Bernie Sanders

Ironic he says to "stand up to powerful and wealthy and greedy special interests" while campaigning for Hillary.

It's ironic. But I prefer the term " pretty fucking retarded" in this scenario. Phone Post 3.0

If she wins, she'll be giving him a job.

Thought he was still in the primaries I bet.

"Feel the Bern..."

Like what was supposed to be a fart in a hurricane that ended up being Hershey-squirt liquid diarrhea with corn in it. It's slimy, it chafes, and simply won't go away.

Fuck him, I hope people are bombarding his Twitter feed.

Do you have even the feintist sniff of irony when making this thread when his/their opponent is the very definition of 'powerful and wealthy'?

You guys really do subsist in an alternative reality.

So Hillary has made millions giving secret closed-door presentations to Goldman Sachs executives, sits on the board of numerous multibillion dollar corporations. rakes in millions in donations from hedge fund managers and trial lawyers' associations and big pharma, collects more millions from oil sheikhs and foreign potentates for a charity that seems to exist to pay travel expenses for her family and wealthy donors and provide pay for play for contact with the State Department and high-profile appointments within the diplomatic service, collects even more money from millionaire film industry producers and actors and pop singers, gets even more millions from exorbitant speaker fees from top-rank universities for speeches full of platitudes and identity group politics, and is the chosen favorite of nearly all of the wealthiest media combines in the nation, AND is endorsed by the Koch brothers and George Bush....and somehow pulsar thinks not she, but Trump, is the tool of the "powerful and wealthy"?

Yikes. Just yikes.

Lol, yeah. And shes not, huh? Made her entire fortune after she got into the political arena.

Uses CF has her own personal money laundry pay for play service.

You're a fucking dolt, pal. Phone Post 3.0

Obtuse? So, I guess that's a no to the irony thing.

You're really going to compare a 10's of millions wealth person to billions? It's almost hard to type how bafflingly dense that is.

Trump 'vows' to stand up to the wealthy? And you just... Believe him? Despite him being in that group and having a storied history of lies, manipulation and vacillating from one position to the next ad nauseum... More baffling stuff.

The Stewed Owl. So, what you're essentially saying is she should be pure of heart. She shouldn’t tread the same well worn trail of politicians using their experience to make money? To accept the invitation of others to extoll her knowledge and background to make some bank on the side? Why is this path not available to her?

In terms of the charity. It's a known 90% of the money (which is comparable to many other charities such as doctors without borders et al) did in fact go to charity programs, with the usual remaining being admin fees. Her tax situation is public, she's not banked everything she received. On the contrary, I think it's a slam on folks like you complaining that you can be SO against using her power for so much charity work. I'm very glad she's taken that path, along with her husband. That's exactly what I want from my politicians.

All you've done is explain the CURRENT political paradigm. And I say... And? Why would you criticize someone taking advantage of that? It's exactly the same as Trump minimizing his taxes. You support that, it's 'smart' to you, but no, Hillary isn't allowed the same margins. Further, you can be using the current paradigm while wanting change. That's perfectly normal behaviour. How can you affect change without being in a position of power to carry out said change?

And you actually poo-poo lifelong conservatives for backing her over the most under-qualified Presidential candidate of all time? They are simply thrown into the pool of RINO's because it doesn't gel with this whole pathetically narrow-minded view that an explosive change by lurching into the stupid and ill-experienced is what the US needs? Every conservative newspaper explaining their inability to back such an ignorant nominee are just more RINO's, not because they've considered their options and realised the danger they're putting the country in?

Rejecting all of that is yikes to me.

And lastly. I think Trump will win. And yes, that's because of fools clinging to the power of celebrity and a half-assed interpretation that they aren't winning in life so why not set fire to it all? Such is life. The 'I told you so's' will be at least somewhat entertaining over the next few years.

/end rant

Actually, the irony is lost on you

Hillary is funded by the super-wealthy having them pay $10,000 for A DINNER PLATE as she gives a speech while Donald Trump just broke the record for receiving the most small donations in the history of this country.

cough cough phaggot

The face of the system.

For what it's worth, and this is not an endorsement of Trump, but his success has been dependent on the success of the American people. He's in real estate. He needed people, every day, average people, to have money to play at his casinos, money to stay in his hotels, and play golf at his courses. He depended on businesses to be successful enough to lease space in his office buildings. He owes his prosperity to the prosperity of millions of Americans. If our economy tanks, he takes a hit. Wall Street, on the other hand, seemed to do just fine in '08 - '09 while everyone else, including real estate took a beating. Wall Street did fine on the backs of a taxpayer funded bailout. I'll let everyone else argue ideology, and what's right, and why Clinton, or why Trump. But speak the truth. His success is a result of American success. Not speeches and politically motivated donations for favors.
This may surely change should he manage to win, of course. And to be sure, he himself has made donations to democrats including Secretary Clinton. Phone Post 3.0

lol @ talking like she's the only politican ex or current to carry on with these activities! You're essentially, bordering on literally, complaining about her being a successful politician.

It's par for the course. Just like it's par for business owners to use and abuse staff within legal parameters, or to take every tax deduction with the most sketchy of justifications. The kicker being - Trump receives praise for it!
