True, but one fight doesn't make him a "point fighter"

Perhaps Diaz is better than most of the other guys. Carlos did throw enough with intentions, he just never connected on the big one.

That his twin's record or something?

who is this fighter?

did he show up tonight?

Condit has a great history, but unfortunately tonight, on the biggest stage of his career, he fought scared and ran.

I would argue that THIS fight says more about Condit than his past history given the significance of the fight, and also because it is clear that Carlos' instinct when the chips are down is to play it SUPER safe and try to eke out a decision.

The endless crying and fickle minds of the UG highlights why MMA fans are the worst fans in all of sports.

Condit fought smart, he used the leg kicks and footwork to not get pressed against the cage and eaten up by Diaz's boxing.

If he woulda stood and traded with Diaz and lost, the UG would be like "Carlos is SOOOOO retarted! What a moran! He shoulda stayed on the outside and picked Diaz apart! DUMASS!"

 safety first.

When were the "chips down" for Carlos?

If one of Carlos's kicks, knees, or punches had put Nick down, would you still feel he fought scared? Is it only that his strikes didn't have the EFFECT they did on guys like Hardy or Kim that is the problem? Because I don't remember him planting his feet and throwing 50 punches in a row in those fights either.

I like both fighter but the usual Carlos didn't show up. That was not the animal that went after Hardy.
