LoL.
Stephan went full on tribal this election cycle.
His opinion has always been a bit suspect, expecially when he tried to speak on economics...but he's travelled to a place where I struggle to even listen to his nonsense any longer.
^His attempts to rationalize support for someone promising more violence rendered him unlistenable.
Haha, I like him but I can't listen to that.
There is a weird strain of conservatism in this country that fancies itself "libertarian" but is highly supportive of guys like Putin and Trump. Molyneux and Alex Jones are the most high-profile examples. Very weird stuff.

TRUTH.
I mean, Putin is probably the LEAST libertarian leader in the world.
Most of his youtube vids are long, but he has been spot on this whole year.
"Clinton?"
Half or whole retard?

Molyneaux supports Putin?
As far as I can tell. He's made a bunch of tweets that referred to Putin in a positive light, and he was defensive of Russia's actions in Crimea.
Al Cappucino -
Dude with a level head that gives good opinions (in my opinion) about multiple issues/political things that's asked of him. It was funny watching him argue/conversate with some guy who was convinced the earth was flat for over an hour, he has a lot of patience to listen to someone's opinion or perspective as to how they see the world and he gives a rational leveled headed response. If you've seen his other videos you'd see that. I was expecting something like this from this post, but I was disappointed, it was just him singing, not the best.

I listen to Stefan a lot.
As far as I know he has never said he supports Putin. And as for Trump; Stefan sees what is happening with the liberal lunacy and authoritarianism that they bring and thinks it is a very real threat to Western Civilisation as a whole. He sees Trump as a fight back against this. He is very philosphical and looks a things in a big picture kind of way.
And why can't someone support Trump and be a libertarian, there is little contradiction there imo.
He also despises Clinton and everything she stands for.

his disregard for civil liberties / the constitution?
love for the Military Industrial Complex & NSA overreach?
naming people Like Rudy Giuliani, Chris Christie, Jeff Sessions, etc, potential cabinet members?

I've never seen them.
But maybe it's also possible that Putin isn't as bad as our media wants to make him out to be. After all, we are seeing the world from the Western propaganda machine that is the media. And Crimea is a very complex siutation. Many of the people there think of themselves as Russian and want to be part of Russia. It goes back a long way.
Again, those are my views, not Stefan's.

There is a huge, huge contradiction. None of Trump's positions are libertarian. Tariffs and protectionist trade policy are not libertarian. Heavily restricted immigration is not libertarian. Increased surveillance state is not libertarian. Increased military and infrastructure spending is not libertarian.
And if you think Trump isn't "authoritarian" you are delusional.

And I'm sure he's weighed up all of those. But given the specific circumstances he obviously still feels getting behind Trump is the best way to keep our civil liberties at the moment.
And btw I never hear Stefan talk about being a libertarian or comment on libertarian party issues or anything like that. I'm not so sure he would even classify himself as one these days.
Trump is not authoritarian in so much as he doesn't want to curtail free speech like the left does.
