Looking for a good, in depth video explaining the long step pass.
Thanks
Here's Guilherme Mendes showing it, followed by a long step to kimura: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LwVO3v2CDk
Here's Bruno Frazatto showing the long step: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRE4p-SAlEw
And here's a recent article on the position: http://thejiujitsulab.wordpress.com/2013/01/07/pressure-on-top-with-guilherme-mendes/

God damn son. You took it up a notch.
The Mendes bros one is slightly better for me but both help :-)
Here is a good Long Ste Pass video... I can not embed it however http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-83iyBpqCcc&list=UUAQiQbtMYCcAjtkxOqqYQqw&index=1
My take, as simple as it looks. Beginners should start out doing it the Bruno Frazatto way, once you understand the movements you can move on to the more advance version like the Mendes bros.
When doing this pass you must take into consideration that the natural reaction for your opponent is to roll towards you to get to his knees, but to get to safety your opponent needs to post onto his elbow. As a preventative measure you can either control your opponent's elbow as you attempt the pass or separate the elbow from your partner's ribs like Frazatto does in his video. Hope this helps.
