Well, not actually watching the fight per say.
My buddy wants to rent out a small room at a bar or something similar and invite a dozen or so people. I'm looking forward to going and watching everyone piss and moan about how boring this fight is just like when we had about a dozen people together to watch the Pac/Mayweather fight.
Me and my buddy had discussed at length how the most likely outcome was obviously just Mayweather slowly outpointing Manny and since we were the only ones there who follow boxing at all and had actually seen each guy fight before, it was quite humerious watching everyone else flip out during the fight.
I'm looking forward to a similar evening of shooting grins at my pal from across a room full of surprised, outraged aquaintences. Its the little things in life.
Is there anyone else that's looking forwad to this same situation? Nobody enjoys passively watching people lose their minds in predictible fashion?
Tell your buddy to make sure the bar is already showing the fight. It costs an average of $1,000-$1,500 (depending on the capacity) for a bar to purchase an mma PPV. Seeing how this PPV is technically a boxing and not MMA event, the bars will be looking at around $7,500-$15,000. No, this is not an exaggeration. While places usually charge $10-$30 per person for mma cards (some are free, like BWW), places are charging $25-$50 per person for boxing PPVs (I actually saw $100 per for Mayweather vs Pacquiao here in Vegas). I hope you live in, or near a busy city with lots of fight fans cause not many places will be showing this fight due to the cost of it.
Wonder if it will be available at the MOVIE THEATERS like they have been in certain past situations?

Good points. He's the one looking into it so we'll see what happens. I live around the twin cities in MN, so it shoudn't be a problem.
