I hate to kick a man when they are down, but how has Dan Hardy established his fighting is good enough to warrant a 4 fight losing streak? He's a tentative, counter striker with a mediocre ground game. I've never seen him go balls to wall in the cage like people seem to think he does. Just because he has a mohawk doesn't mean he's a brawler.
1. GSP loss- Hardy talked shit about how he'd bring the fight to him while it was standing. When it was standing, GSP was throwing more.
2. Condit loss- Got knocked out in a fight that was playing out slowly until that final exchange.
3. Rumble loss- Got outstruck and outwrestled easily.
4. Lytle loss- Despite being behind, went for a takedown instead of a knockout.
it has nothing to do with "guys that war" and everything to do with Zuffa having aboslutely no UK stars with real talent.
If he wasnt from the UK he would have been cut after the last fight.
UK fighters suck and it's watering down the UFC product.
Bisping needs to be protected by fighting a guy like mayhem cuz any top 5 MW would beat the shit out of him.
It's also more than a sport now, it's an entertainment show at the same time, keep getting rid of exciting fighters who people do like then nobody's going to watch, MMA has changed for the better, and I like them keeping hardy, hrs an entertainer and a fighter.... No people like hardy in UFC = ufc will slowely die

that's awesome news! The guy gives great fights and I wish the UFC would have this same policy more often. Just because guys are losing COMPETETIVE fights against the best in the world, it doesn't mean they can't fight. Anyone can win on any night, especially on a night like tonight where the fight could have ended with one shot and both guys were right there will to tempt fate!
