Reminds me of the Japanese in terms of appreciating heart, technique, effort, regardless of the fighter. They are one step up because they are INTO it. Color me crazy but I think it's motivating the fighters because this is a DAMN GOOD card so far.
AussieRooJitsu - Yep it's crazy, and I believe the venue only holds around 6000.
Yeah it's a tiny venue. They decided to abandon Sydney this time around, in a venue that has set records for the UFC. Either case, the Australian crowds are always much more appreciative than the US ones.

DanoAU - I disagree, the constant yells of "booooring" make me feel embarrassed to be an Australian fight fan.
That was a handful of people when everything was near silent. Every crowd has a handful of disrespectful d bags.
Had a blast watching it. Very solid card.
Yeah, pretty tame in comparison to a certain other nation's crowd, which I won't state since there are some very sensitive people around here. Always a few knuckleheads. Better when they are a minority as opposed to a majority.
I just watched the Mendes fight and about a minute in u can hear a guy yell "come on guys, lets smash it up more!". Then u can hear the crowd react to the joke.
