If thats true its news to me.
Its a moot point if your balls already stopped working. But staying on trt long term and expecting to get a normal natural production back seems risky.

You’re wrong. PCT just speeds up the process and makes it easier.
In a shocking turn of events, youtube broscience has failed me
It will go back to what your normal levels were before test. With PCT takes 4-8 weeks usually. Without PCT it can take 6 months or longer.
Balance it out with some beans and brussel sprouts.
Brussel sprouts are tasty tiny cabbages.
My big problem is sleep. Can’t sleep more than 6 hours before I’m tossing and turning
You can sleep for six hours straight? I’m totally jealous
Lots of good thoughts here. If I didn’t know my numbers, I would normally chalk it up to regular aging. I don’t feel 18, but I also know I’m not 18 anymore. I also realize that I’m no longer a competitive athlete. My goals are fully self-imposed at this point of my life. Having a great body isn’t a big deal either since I’ve been married for 12 years, and like I said, I have 4 kids. My reasons for jumping on it is mostly for physical and mental health. Despite living what I think is a healthy lifestyle, I have an HRV of 18 on my Whoop which I’ve read could put me at risk for cardiovascular diseases and I’ve read there could be a link between low testosterone and low HRV.
Paying an extra couple hundred bucks a month is not a big deal for me. If I could get 30 minutes extra sleep a night, reduce some aches and pains, get a bit more energy, it sounds like a good deal. Besides the hassle of poking myself with some needles, and the additional expense, it doesn’t really seem to have many downsides if it’s not abused.
I love it. If it wasnt for my treatment I would have a hard time in life. I would sleep an average of 4 hours a night before, now I get 6 on average. I wad in a bad place mentally, it definitely helped. My advice, seek out a good trt doc, not some test mill. Make sure you’re comfortable in their care and dont trust anyone who is quick with a prescription pad.
I was told to take it fasting before 10am. I think I took it at around 7? My sleep ranges from 6-7 hours but it’s common for me to wake up at 2 or 3am in the morning unable to go back to sleep for a couple hours. I don’t really drink. I’ll have a glass of wine if I’m with clients or out to dinner with my family…. So maybe a couple drinks a week. I eat fairly healthy but I admit I use meal replacements more often than I should. Most of my real meals are from Hello Fresh or Trifecta.
Stress is a big one for me though. 60hr weeks are the norm. I’m a COO for a health tech company in California and I tend to be really critical of myself. Add my day to day responsibilities to my family, BJJ, and gym time, I have very little downtime.
Thanks Honestus. I’ve read some bad experiences from money grubbing docs so your advice makes sense.
Cheers man, good luck and i wish you well.
AnotherTMAguy, I’ve read a lot of stories of TRT helping in this area. It’s crazy how I can feel exhausted all day long only to wake up at 2am in the morning with my mind running 100mph.
This guy is an absolute moron and full of shit.
I cannot believe that someone with low testosterone workout 5-6 days a week.
Also OP is missing your age.
PCP getcha strong. Lift heavy shit. Fight police.
How many of you on TRT are/were overweight, inactive, or get less than an average of 7-8 hours of sleep?
Not bashing; I’m simply wondering how many have bad habits that could be contributing.
Well i still get under 7 hours of sleep a night. The rest is no
Statistically almost everyone on this thread is overweight, eats poorly, and doesn’t get good sleep consistently.
You sound quite unbalanced with those numbers.
