:)
Except for that we're ordering so many of them, we can always switch the one that didn't fit as well for one that did.
Hi Rick ;).

Revgirl,
Just a thought. When someone makes a marketing thread you don't jump in and try to market your own stuff, especially when you don't even have it yet. Dirty tactics will turn people off.
I second that !
joekarate, what are you talking about? show me the thread where I did that?
1) I posted MY OWN thread about lucky gis.
2) I posted MY OWN thread about keiko gis (and then fightplanet went on and talked about THEIR lucky gis)
3) fight planet had a thread with the heading "LUCKY GIS SOLD OUT AT FIGHT PLANET" so at worse, I may have gone on that link to tell the city that there are other options, which I don't think is unethical under the circumstances.
Don't really see the harm in that all things considered, but if I've offended your sensibilities, it was not my intention, I just wanted to move some gis and get people like you excited. Also, I don't think fight planet going on my link and mentioning their product is "dirty" either, it's fair competition. The more competition in the marketplace, the better for you, the consumer, so why should you complain?
There are no "dirty tactics" here. We love Rick at the club and love Fight Planet. We were under the impression HE HAD NO LUCKY GIS based on his heading "LUCKY GIS SOLD OUT AT FIGHT PLANET". There is nothing wrong with taking pre-orders for things--that's how things operate in the clothing business when things are in short supply.
I understand if you have some loyalty to him, but seriously, stop trolling and trying to cause tension, and before you do, please get your facts straight.
Rick: Do you have a Black A2 Koral in stock?
Oh boy here we go...
To revgirl,
"joekarate, what are you talking about? show me the thread where I did that?"
You did it in this thread
"1) I posted MY OWN thread about lucky gis."
Yeah that is cool.
2) I posted MY OWN thread about keiko gis (and then fightplanet went on and talked about THEIR lucky gis) 3) fight planet had a thread with the heading "LUCKY GIS SOLD OUT AT FIGHT PLANET" so at worse, I may have gone on that link to tell the city that there are other options, which I don't think is unethical under the circumstances.
Actually the headline was "LUCKY GIS now sold out". He then in the body of the post wrote;
"Online that is. But we still have some in stock at the store..." By FIGHT PLANET refering to "we still have some instock at the store". He's implying at FIGHT PLANET. Correct me if i'm wrong.

You didn't offend me nor my sensibilities. It should just be noted that there's some unnecessary tactics going on here. If someone sat outside a mechanics shop trying to steal their business is that ethical? Also, don't label me as a "consumer". A "consumer" is a fictional entity and i never claimed to be one and you haven't the authority to label me as one.

There is nothing wrong with taking preorders provided your corporation/business is authorized to do so and not infringing on any rights of the corporation distributing the product. Also, if you didn't do anything unethical, why the need for such a lengthy response? Perhaps you feel guilty and felt the need to explain yourself. If there was no question about it and I was flat out wrong you wouldn't need to "defend" yourself.
"I understand if you have some loyalty to him, but seriously, stop trolling and trying to cause tension, and before you do, please get your facts straight."
What facts don't I have straight? I've confirmed I have all my facts in order. You claimed a few things in your response and I'm responding to them as such. The tension must only be in your head because you feel guilty for your actions. I don't think FIGHT PLANET or anyone else feels tension, I sure don't. In fact, when i went to FIGHT PLANET to buy my gi the owner recommended i train at your academy since i was looking for a place in the area. That sure seemed nice then i notice all this potential undercutting going on.
It's easy to just refer to someone as a "troll" when you have run out of things to say. I'm not arguing or creating conflict here I'm simply answering your questions to the best of my knowledge. My previous claim was simply a observation of something that "stunk" I realize that's the name of the game and I also realize customers nowadays aren't the sheep they once were and notice these "tactics" and will act accordingly. If something stinks in a room, just because you can't find the cause of the smell doesn't mean it doesn't stink.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
I got a few questions:
"Which came first the chicken or the egg?"
"If a woodchuck could chuck wood, just how much wood could that woodchuck chuck?"
ROFL! I think if i lived 1 million years i wouldn't be able to accuarately answer those questions with 100% knowledge. I apologise.
Wiley,
Question:
"If a woodchuck could chuck wood, just how much wood could that woodchuck chuck?"
Answer:
"A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood."
Question:
"Which came first the chicken or the egg?"
Answer:
In nature, living things evolve through changes in their DNA. In an animal like a chicken, DNA from a male sperm cell and a female ovum meet and combine to form a zygote -- the first cell of a new baby chicken. This first cell divides innumerable times to form all of the cells of the complete animal. In any animal, every cell contains exactly the same DNA, and that DNA comes from the zygote.
Chickens evolved from non-chickens through small changes caused by the mixing of male and female DNA or by mutations to the DNA that produced the zygote. These changes and mutations only have an effect at the point where a new zygote is created. That is, two non-chickens mated and the DNA in their new zygote contained the mutation(s) that produced the first true chicken. That one zygote cell divided to produce the first true chicken.
Prior to that first true chicken zygote, there were only non-chickens. The zygote cell is the only place where DNA mutations could produce a new animal, and the zygote cell is housed in the chicken's egg.
So, the egg must have come first.

Mr. Phil999,
Where you going to plagiarize the entire thing without giving credit to the source?

LOL! I'm just kidding with ya.
lol.
I didn't want to cut & paste the lengthy article about chicken & egg from wikpedia.
I think i ruined this thread. Sorry FIGHT PLANET.
Nice post JoekarateFan.
Just my opinion.....why would someone want a free 1 month membership when they buy a gi? If there buying a high-end quality gi (like a lucky gi)....don't ya think they already train somewhere?
