Why doesn't he buff up and cut to 205, or just shred to 185?
Is it ninja tactics or just old school?
Tito will NOT win tonight, not even by a decision, the only way he remembers how to win.
" Nah. Tito will come in at about 215 and Machida will be somewhere around 208. Minimal difference."
He looks old school (Royce & co in the early 90s) at 203. Regardless if he wins or not, is he fighting at the top of his potential this way?
I just bet half my damn account on Tito.
He could probably fight at 185 rather easily. 205 is enough for his build. Bulking up will slow his speed and reaction time...which are his two most important attributes... he sees an opponents attack coming an before it has a chance to land he nails them with a straight right....He is perfect at this weight.
Machida by repeated knees to an non-missable target..Tito's head!
Sok is as big a LHW as it gets, Nakamura is not small either...
He's much leaner in the UFC than he was before, he def looks like he could make 185
Lyoto vs Anderson hmmmmm
Doubt that happens. Anderson and Machida train together.
Machida used to fight at heavyweight.
I could see Machida stuffing Titos takedowns and cruising to a decision on his feet
Machida reminds me of the Japanese guy on Mythbusters...
