Lyoto has had the least number of strikes landed against him of any fighter in UFC history. Apparently he holds the record by a wide margin. He is also the second most accurate striker in UFC history, behind only Anderson Silva.
Assuming the UFC and/or its stat guys are not fudging them, those are incredibly impressive stats.
im not impressed with his performance
^^^ cool that he and Anderson rank 1st and 2nd for accurate strikes
He is a bad mofo for sure.
oh yeah well ive never taken a single strike in the ufc!

It's an impressive stat at face value, but many top flight UFC fighters have had a lot more fights on their UFC record. I'm not debating its validity, but I would look to know what the breakdown average is per fight, what his 5 fight totals are, etc.

Where's the raw data?
Yeah, but how long have they been keeping stats?
source?
Filthy McSexy - source?
UFC 104 countdown
HaMMerHouseFAN - Yeah, but how long have they been keeping stats?
Since last tuesday!
Pretty much
UfcSpyGUY - Too bad they dont keep a record of most laps ran around inside the octagon, Im sure he would be at the top for that record also. : )
Yeah right. He'll never surpass Kalib Starnes.
He gets hit every 7.5min.
In other words we don't really know if he has a weak chin or not.
Maybe those punches are the hardest punches ever thrown. we will never know.
what about Royce?
Royce took at least 15-20 against Hughes. Thats probably more than Machida has been hit cleanly in his career
He also holds the record for the highest percentage of urine consumption in MMA.
I don't even remember last time Machida took a clean hit.
