Chris "Lights Out" Lytle, went to 12-1-1 with an 8 round decision over Verdell Smith tonight at Grand Victoria Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana. Scores were 80-72 and 79-73 twice.
AWESOME!!! Lytle is a certified badass!!!
Chris needs to lose about 40 fights to match Ron Krulls amazing win percentage.
Luv: usually that happens after about 20 pro fights in boxing.
They're not even in the same weight class for one reason. Reggie Davis has fought 80% of his fights at 154, and maybe two at 160, while Chris fights at 168 to 175 pounds.
We've had Chris scheduled to fight in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York and Germany, and all have fallen through. Doesn't sound like those are in the midwest to me.
Just like Corey Spinks, Jesse James Leija, Yori Boy Campas, Leonard Dorin, Oba Carr, Cezar Bazan, and Tony Marshall should've.
Those guys aren't half bad and they didn't stop Verdell either.
Chris has been boxing 2 1/2 years, that's it. He's getting better each fight and is learning along the way.
You're right. Yori Boy only has 69 ko's in 85 wins.
Congrats to Chris.
Luv, no one is saying that Chris is going to be a top pro boxer. I think it's damn impressive for an MMA fighter to be pro bozing and amassing a 12-1-1 record I don't care who he is fighting. He does have a vicory over a 43-8-1 Jonathan Corn. Ok, so Corn fought bums too. I think Lytle's boxing will only help his MMA career. The guys is well rounded as he has been submitting everybody lately.
Fuck you, and fuck Reggie. (sorry Reggie nothin personal)
Chris Lytle is the man.
"just like southern fighters"
I guess Vernon Forrest, Evander Holyfield, Nate Campbell, Paul Williams, Winkey Wright, Ebo Elder, Joe Frazier, Roy Jones JR, etc... all got their asses stomped when they moved up to the big fights.
If you think the south doesn't have talented fighters you should come do some sparring at the gym's that I work out at.

wonder who would win a jeremy jackson vs lytle boxing match or mma?
Has anybody else noticed how much money gets spent by FS turds and ex-banned, on blue names?
Nobody can be that dumb, "Luvconstrictor."
I'm going to give you the benefit of a doubt and give you credit for purposely throwing out inanities, and for money well spent, lol.
TTT for Lytle, one fo the most underrated MMA fighters out there. WHo cares if Luvconstrictor wants to criticize the level of Lytle's boxing opponents and make sweeping generalizations about "jobbers". This was funny:
LUV: Now in that list who has KO power ? Not a single one....
Palmer: You're right. Yori Boy only has 69 ko's in 85 wins.
Chris is a stud. I saw him triangle a guy in Hook n shoot in the third rd after getting his shoulder dislocated in the first. A really nice guy aswell. Had the pleasure of training with him a few years ago(probably doesnt remember me) but he helped alot. Give the guy credit where credit is do. He is really working on his striking and making a go of it. Much respect.
Congrats Chris. A total athlete with a great attitude. Walks around pretty much at fight weight. Divides time between work, family, mma, boxing and succeeding at it.
Luv-
Let Chris fight Reggie MMA, and I bet he taps him in under 2 min. Chris is a MMA fighter who just happens to like to box. He is not going to be the next 170lbs champ of the world.(in boxing) The guy is 12-1 and has only been boxing for 2 1/2 years. Give the guy a little credit and stop being a hater! Sure their is probably a lot of people out there that could hand Chris his ass in boxing. So what, what is your point??!! The guy has proven he is one of the top MMA fighters in the world at 170lbs and a pretty decent young pro boxer..
Muhsin,
You forgot Antonio Taver.
I would fight Lytle in a new york second, my record is bad but I am better fighter than him and also fough MUCH better fighters. Palmer anytime, anyplace
Easy Ron, we're talkin bout Lytle stepping up to fighting
outside the Mid-West. Strickland is decent despite the
legendary record. He's been one of the most successful
MMAers in boxing. Nobody is saying world title yet, but he's
the best MMA prospect in boxing right now and nearest to a
regional title shot
