Someone is going to end up with a seriously injured back or neck from a takedown onto that cage.
Cage at the bottom is a good idea. I have reffed a fair amount in an 8-sided ring, and regular rings, and a cage is way safer and easier.

Won't people still get tangled when up against the ropes/in a clinch? That is the biggest drawback to ropes IMO. I feel like the cage should extend 1 rope higher.
