I would deffinately watch a rematch, not yet though. I want to see Rashad and Hendo fight him first. Then, if Macida is still wreckin people give him another shot.

My God this light heavyweight division.

Doesn't feel like it's been too long since Machida was showing interest in fighting at heavyweight against Brock, you know things have changed dramatically when he's somewhat considering switching weight classes (down I assume).

It was Machida's unique style that helped him win that first round.  Not everyone can do that.

He's friends with Anderson and JDS both, I don't see how switching classes is gonna solve any "title" issues for him regardless. Phone Post

I could easily see a rematch within two years. Machida definitely has the tools to rack up a few quality wins and I don't see Jones losing.

Except he didn't win the 1st round. The UG's opinion doesn't hold too much weight. 2 of the 3 judges gave it to Jones


 Most fighters and reporters/analysts gave it Machida as well.

Jones isn't even gonna fight in the next 6months. As I guarantee with the way that match ended machida isn't getting a instant rematch. Especially with hendo and rashad waiting in line Phone Post

I think if Anderson retires or decides to move up for good, then Machida will move to 185.

He's delusional. He had his moments, I wouldn't call that superior. The part he doesn't get is Jones' adaptability and ability to change gears and do what's worse for you. Jones wins 9x out of 10. Machida should stop drinking his own piss. It's beginning to affect his brain.

If Jones focused on the take down in the first round he would have won much sooner. Jones haters can only cling to a close round with Machida that ultimately amounted to nothing. lol
