Machida was boring not impressive

If bader didn't rush him it would have been worse than verdun vs arlovski.

Just watched bitches. Was busy sat night. Phone Post

I feel the same way about this thread.

Horse hockey!

I don't admit I like the guy a often but i do. He completely outclassed a good fighter and it was ugly yes but it was so because Vader was outclassed so badly IMO.

Granted Machida is counter puncher by trade and the onus is always on his opponent to take the fight to him.

NarlyPersianDude - I totally disagree with op, I will leave it at that.

Peace

Could I disagree with OP more? Not really.

Now I am bored and exiting.

Jones isn't going to run at him, throw an overhand and close his eyes. Wtf Phone Post

That was a great performance. You clowns are fucking weird.

Has a point, machida wont bust a move unless his opponent does Phone Post

If bader didn't engage that fight would have ruined the card. Phone Post

This guy makes a good point and people in this thread should really shut the fuck up and nod their heads to what the TS is saying here. Machida took a counter-striking style against a timid striker in Bader, which created a rather bland fight until Machida landed a counter to put Bader to sleep. That is simply telling the truth. People need to pull their heads out of their ass and just admit that, without that awesome counter, the fight wasn't really that action-packed up to that point, which is fine. I'm an MMA fan, I enjoyed it, but I can see how a casual fan would not. It doesn't change the fact Machida is awesome though, but the fight to that point was not a jaw-dropper like the others on the card.

Machida mentally destroyed Bader by negating all of his offense. Then KO'd him.

I found it amazing to watch. Phone Post

The casual fans voted for him last night. Phone Post

compared to how he fought against rampage (for the first 2 rounds) it was pretty exciting

Your best post Phone Post

Poindexter - That was a great performance. You clowns are fucking weird.

I think what makes Machida ^so effective is his proven ability to shut down wrestlers. Both with timing and takedown defense! Phone Post

crozbomb - shogun was way more impressive than machida, even vera was more impressive. bader is over hyped like many ultimate fighters.

Wrong, wrong, true. 1/3 ain't terrible.

miserable thread fail

^ Machida was more dominant, but Shogun survived a much tougher test. I know Bader is tough but Vera was hungry last night and came to win! I thought that the guillotine in the first might have totally gassed Shogun and any fighter would have left a lot of himself in the ring after the war with Henderson.

Shogun was more impressive because he overcame a bigger challenge, Machida looked untouchable.
