I went from a -11 to a neg -17 just for being a fan.
WTF is up with that? LOL Thats just wrong.
I have never seen a dude that was KTFO crawl across a cage like that. :)

Hhahah I knew that was coming. Come on dont be a hater!!
Can you explain it to me? He got dropped and AA was trying to kick him in the face. The ref jumped in. Were the kicks legal? Was the ref stopping it to save Tim? If so, why was it a no contest? I'm not getting any answers elsewhere.

The ref has to give the signal for them to be legal soccer kicks.

The kicks were not legal under One Fc's "Open Attack" rule.
In order to be able to soccer kick or stomp an opponent, the ref has to determine if the downed fighter is able to defend himself, and if so..then the attacking fighter is waved on to be allowed to kick or stomp.
This was not the case in this fight.
AA was not given the green light to be allowed to use kicks, but he did anyway.
Hence the NC.
Stupid rule, and cost AA what was probably a TKO win.
None of that was Sylvia's fault, of course, but he is getting a lot of flak for deciding not to continue after his 5 minute period to recover, which I get. Fans don't like to see fighters choose not to fight...if you don't believe me, see Jon Jones current situation
OneFC need to decide whether to allow kicks on the ground or not, this Open Attack rule is ridiculous, some nonsense that sounds good in theory but just does not work in practice. Cage Rage tried to do it years ago and it failed there too.
Boy that sounds like a silly rule. Leaving that type of thing up to the ref. These things happen in a flash and if you have to sit there and wait for the ref to give the go ahead... The refs job should be to protect the fighter, not give the go ahead to kill him.
Either have the kicks or don't. It seems like a silly middle ground.

Agreed.
They need to revise this rule, it's too messy.
Either kicks need to be allowed full on, or not at all.
The ref's job is not ton influence the fight, and tell fighters when they can or can't use certain techniques.
Just too much potential for a mess like yesterday's fight
