I found this informative.

this fight will never happen ......

I agree with them demanding this.

Same goes fer any fighter who is popped moving forward.

Random testing throughout the camps if they want to be allowed to be in a cage potentially hurting other humans.

octowussy - Cyborg's been alternating bodies??

alternating sexes for sure

At least rondas management isn't going to let her talk gr way into an unfair fight...one of the first things ive heard from her side lately that I agree with Phone Post

At yet Ronda idolizes Chael Sonnen...

I'm glad there's another thread on this topic.

ok

Cant say that I blame him.Whats fair is fair.Once a fighter has tested positive,I am all for the most stringent tests known to man for the remainder of their career.

epwar - At yet Ronda idolizes Chael Sonnen...

She idolizes his marketing strategies, not his fighting/competing strategies.

That should be obvious, Ronda finishes fights :)

Not only a second rate Chael Sonnen she's turning into a second rate BJ Penn.

SamboMMA - Not only a second rate Chael Sonnen she's turning into a second rate BJ Penn.

"She's been taking male hormones, and it's not only unethical, it's freaking dangerous, and you're endangering the lives of the athletes. She's coming in there basically with man-like strength or male hormones in her body, and she's endangering the lives of our athletes."

LOL. Women do naturally produce testosterone, so they're not just "male hormones." Further, doctors prescribe them for woman all the time (menopause, sex drive issues, etc.).

I would be willing to bet that women raising their testosterone levels artificially for strength gains is hardly any different than men doing so. Men cheat all the time to gain an advantage, and fundamentally, it's no different.

Enough with the drama of "endangering the lives of the athletes," unless it's going to be applied to both sexes.

This: "Maybe you lose some of the muscle mass, but a lot remains."

Fight will never be fair.

A olympic medalist Judoka becomes an MMA fighter and becomes instantly and incredibly successful, winning all of her fights in quick and identical devastating fashion. She demands that a proven abuser of Stanozolol (i.e. steroids) takes extra steps to prove that the two fighters are hormonally similar when they train and fight. This is deemed extra important because the impact of male hormones on strength and endurance are more noticeable with female athletes, given that they start at a lower baseline and their bodies are less androgenized overall.

You're right. She's a 2nd rate BJ Penn (as if that's an insult)

i would do the same... ped's in female mma is very dangerous.

Women produce testosterone, and men produce estrogen. The way you said it you seem to be implying that they produce these hormones EQUALLY, which is clearly not the case. You can play semantics with the word "male hormones" all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that if you take a less masculine person (such as a female) and add masculinizing agents to that person, the changes they experience will be greater than if you take a more masculine person (such as a male) and add masculinizing agents to him.

And I've heard "endangering the lives of the athletes" a ton when referencing male athletes. In fact, it's the most common reason given as to why it's more important to regulate combat sports than, say, baseball.

That's the ACs call to make. Not her. The way Rousey is carrying on I would not be surprised if she took PEDs in the past [considering how rough Judo she definitely had to have taken painkillers at some stage]She's got a definite "The Lady doth protest too much" vibe going on.
