Swedish light heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson previously said he would wait for the winner of Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier, but is now considering a bout in the interim:

With all signs pointing towards Gustafsson sitting and waiting for his shot, his manager Manos Terzitaine tells UFC Tonight's Ariel Helwani that his fighter isn't worried much anymore about whether he fights again or waits for a title shot.
Conflicting ideas for sure, but it does at least open the door to the possibility of Gustafsson facing fellow top 10 ranked light heavyweight Anthony Johnson later this year.
I get where Gus is coming from, he was promised a title shot then got hurt, now that Jones is hurt it should go back to Gus as both will be healthy relatively at the same time.
But as a fan I would much rather see Jones/DC. It would be funny if DC and Anthony Johnson won then you could have a Jones/Gus number one contender fight while DC/Johnson fight for the title.
The belt doesn't actually mean that you are the best. Who you beat does. Gus should worry less about what people think of him and focus more on becoming the actual best in the world. And that means fighting ALL COMERS.
That's what's become annoying about Jones too. Jones should be the one trying to keep Gus and Rumble from fighting, because he should want to be the one to defeat all three of them.
"It appears Alexander Gustafsson and his management aren't exactly on the same page when it comes to his next move in the UFC.
Gustafsson just recently posted on Facebook that he spoke to UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta and was guaranteed he could face the winner of Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier if he wanted to sit out and wait to fight again. In addition to the fight, Gustafsson was also told there's a chance the fight could take place in his home country of Sweden.
