Marc Laimon on Inside BJJ Podcast

Join Tim, Matt, and Ernest for another ridiculous show about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and life. Tim discusses his son’s new found passion for Lord of the Rings and being manipulated with the Amazon Click Through link by his son. Tim also talks about Christmas Eve and coming face to face with a scary Stocktonian at 3AM, how his CrossFit training partner changes demeanor when Ernest is present, and Ernest flaunting his black belt to the kid’s class.

The guys sit down with Team Takedown and Cobra Kai famed Marc Laimon. Marc talks about his background in Jiu-Jitsu, early obsessions for learning from VHS tapes, experiences on The Ultimate Fighter and his “beef” with Matt Serra. Marc also talks about his match with Ryron Gracie and his favorite/least favorite positions in Mixed Martial Arts. Ernest pulls an “Ernest” and asks Marc a very personal question.

Later, the guys talk to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blackbelt Tim Sledd about the Black Belts for Autism Awareness event on January 20th, in Martinsville, Indiana.

Tim Freeman please learn to ask questions more fluidly and maybe in a different manner each time. Keep up the work. :)

I agree with the previous post. You ask your questions in the same way most of the time..."Can you talk about_____ for a few minutes?". Half the time your guest sounds stumped like they are expecting a question with more direction. Also, you seem to not always ask a question but rather make a statement, then wait for your guest to reply. Sometimes they don't know its they're cue to talk because you didn't ask them a question. Just my 2 cents. I love the show though. Though Laimon didn't want to go into too many details about his past jiu jitsu instructors, him and Ernest talking about porn was hilarious, lol.

I'm very non confrontational. I feel like I'm bothering these guys and I'm trying to ask question without asking. Then when they hang up, I talk bad about them.

I need therapy.

Thanks for the feedback. Phone Post

I actually think its funny (and ballsy) to talk crap on guests after they hang up.

Keep it up! As long as it isnt me you are talking crap about.

Ernest and I play good cop bad cop. Sometimes I say things he said during the preshow and I come off nice. Sometimes he says stuff I said during the preshow and he comes off as ballsy.

It's Grappletainment. Phone Post

I knew under all that Black Belt Bravado, Ernest was just a big teddy bear.
