Sounds like they both believe Liston got caught but could have gotten up. This video definitely sheds some light about how this fight was viewed in the direct aftermath...with a ton of suspicion.

Yeah, he could have gotten up. But Ali was standing over him. I've never understood why there was any dispute over the punch. It seems like people just can't accept that Walcott was a shitty ref who badly screwed up a title fight.
Good vid. Liston fell too easily from that punch, he just wasn't interested in fighting that night.

I love Ali, but Liston didn't go down from the punch IMO. I know Foreman has said he believes Liston was paid to take a dive, either way didn't seem like a legit KO.
