Margarito PPV on Saturday (2/18)

Is this worth buying? I know nothing about Margarito or Viloria's opponents. I don't care much for Chavez Jr or Calderon...

Aguirre has some pretty nice credentials, so I have some hope he could be a decent test for Viloria, but who the hell is Manuel Gomez?

I saw it listed as $39.95 if I'm not mistaken.

At that price, it's a hard sell. Gomez was a 13-1 underdog at one point, plus Aguirre is past his prime.

If it's $40, there's absolutely no way I will pay for it.

I was thinking it would be $20, or $25 tops.

I'm doing the round by round for it at maxboxing. You gotta be a member ($4.99 a month) but I do try and give as much of a description or more than anybody else.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'd really like to be able to see Margarito fight, though. It's been too long. He keeps fighting on PPV. Why the hell won't HBO or Showtime give him air time?

i would get it for $25, but not for $40. Viloria is one of my favorite fighters and i'd love to watch him, but if i have to i'll just get it off ebay or something for $10 next week sometime

i've never understood boxing's pricing structure for their PPVs

Gomez has draws in 2 of his last 4 fights, and is an 11-1

underdog.

Aguirre lost to Guardia IMO (barely), and has lost his last couple of fights.

This card is not worth more than $29.99 imo. Where are all the people who bash Don King PPVs this week, when Arum puts on this stinker?

I mention it all the time but usually just get angry emails from Gatti fans in reply ;).

viloria will kick some ass!!!

Margarito killed him... Here are a couple angles of the end.

Cool shit. Thanks, Keegan.

Keegan=helpful vid poster who saved you $40.

I love fights like this. The same pay for one round.

Thanks for the link, Slick. Much appreciated.

It is my belief that Margarito has the best chance of anybody between 140 and 147 to beat PBF.

Thanks for the vid!

Arce's gotta get by Alvarez in April first. Alvarez may be past his prime, but he's still a very skilled and tough fighter. Gave Roberto Lopez his toughest fights, right? I wasn't going to buy the Mayweather/Judah PPV, but the signing of Arce/Alvarez on the undercard is making me seriously reconsider.

How was the Viloria/Aguirre fight overall?

Looking at the scorecards, looks like Calderon had another flawless performance, but that dude is just so boring to watch...

You are awesome.

thanks for those links. i'm downloading now.
