Yo OG,
I'm looking to move to SoCal, buy a 40ish' Catamaran, and live aboard it.
But...having a hell of a time finding a marina that will accommodate large Cats.
Anyone have any advice/info/tips about how to find a slip for a large Cat in SoCal?
We were looking at San Diego, but are pretty wide open.
Dana Point
In just because this is awesome.
Try Long Beach
Channel Islands. I had a 42ft day cruiser and paid around $400 month there.
marina del ray has 120ft yachts
also house boats
E55 Pilot - Channel Islands. I had a 42ft day cruiser and paid around $400 month there.This !! Can't beat the 805

Where's the nipple I came here for?

A slip at Dana point or Newport will probably cost you more than your boat. Good luck
Back to add that Dana point is one of the highest boat slip rates in the country.
There are some pretty big boats at the Chula Vista Marina, it's not the best place in the world, but not too bad. Decent grub at the Galley, and a never ending string of decent looking servers.
Uhhh are we just gonna let it go that he has a large cat?
Did anyone else have to read the thread title about 4x to realize what it was about?
Flynn - I'm looking to do the same. What kind of cat?
VinnyTheChin - Did anyone else have to read the thread title about 4x to realize what it was about?I figured it was a new OG euphemism for porking a hotty. Thread is far more interesting though.
