Mark Bocek vs. Alvin Robinson at UFC 91

Mark Bocek Returns To Action On November 15th

Wednesday September 17, 2008

MMACanada.net has learned that decorated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner Mark Bocek will indeed be fighting on November 15th inside the octagon at UFC 91 which is headlined by the UFC Heavyweight title fight between Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar.  Bocek, fighting out of Woodbridge Ontario Canada will be fighting his 4th fight in the UFC 91 show against Alvin Robinson at the MGM Grand Garden Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Exciting fight.  Bocek by sub in the second.

LOL

Bocek takes it, but I'll go out on a limb by saying I hope for who cares via who cares in the who gives a flying fuck what round.

So people know when to go up to get beer.

But seriously, this is the card that's going to sell based on Brock/Randy, Quinton/Wanderlei, and Florian/Stevenson.  I would expect the entire undercard to be fights like this.

You're talking out of your ass. Just because they're not title contenders doesn't mean this won't be a good fight.

Two excellent BJJ guys, should be interesting

Go Bocek!

Good to see Mark back in the UFC.

I never said it wasn't a great fight.  I actually agree that it will be a great fight.  But it doesn't mean much, that's all, neither of these guys are miles within contention in a VERY full LW division.  Just because something is a great fight doesn't mean it belongs on a UFC PPV card.

It means a whole lot to Alvin. You guys have no idea.

And I am sure it means a lot to Bocek as well.

Go Alvin. He just had a tough break with 2 tough fights in the UFC. Florian and Nate are in the upper tier of that division.

It probably won't make the show, I don't understand why people would complain about this fight.

bonersaurus -  It probably won't make the show, I don't understand why people would complain about this fight.

Especially after the gutsy performance Mark put on against Danzig in April. Mark has heart and that's more than I can say about a lot of fighters.

Then why did you say you were gonna get up to get a beer when the fight was on.

Probably a fight to see who will stay in the UFC.  I'll go with Bocek as well.
