When Mark was inducted into the HoF and he was talking about missing Kevin Randleman, I thought he was on the verge of having a health event then.

All the best to the Godfather of ground and pound!

He’s having a tough run of late. Wishing him well.

Get Better Godfather

A guy I used to train with, over 50, fucking RIPPED, big bulky beefy dude with muscles on muscles.  I'm fairly certain he's on the juice to be in shape he is at his age, and he had a heart attack last year, in his 50's.

I can't help but wonder if guys who took steroids for a long time and are still big/muscular well after their prime athletic days contributes to heart attacks.

The excess steroids is what does it. Raises the bad cholesterol and hypertrophy's the heart I believe.

I hadn’t been feeling so well for quite some time,” Coleman wrote on Instagram. “Something hit pretty hard Tuesday about 7:00 pm, chest locked up my arms went numb. Sounds pretty obvious but I didn’t want to believe. I walked around and laid down for about 6 hours it didn’t get better. I texted my daughters I didn’t want to go, wasn’t fair to them so I grabbed my keys made it to the hospital.”

“For sure there was nothing wrong,” he continued. “But yes there was complete blockage of a major artery. If I don’t go I’m probably not here today. I’m so glad I went, I have so many things I want to do. Tomorrow they will try to break through the artery and put a stent in.”

Oh my.That hospital bill is going to be insane & I highly doubt that Mark has insurance.Hoping for the best.

Hopefully there is a GoFundMe. The MMA community is good at rallying around our older heroes.
