Married guys could you live with your parents?

I work with some East Indians, Eastern Europeans and these guys get married and still live with there parents.

My question is could you do it under any circumstances?

Could you do it if all bills were paid for by parents?

No. Phone Post 3.0

I moved back in with my dad when my mom passed, he's 73 now and I've been living with him for nearly 5 years.

I've since married and had two kids, I've also bought the house from him and my wife stays at home and raises the kids and takes care of him. Not like she changes his underwear and shit but he's pretty sick and she cooks for him and make sure he takes his medication. If he was capable of taking care of himself and the up keep of the house i would feel like an asshole but the way I see it is it's my time to care for him. Phone Post 3.0

Could you live with them at same time as being married!

No because they are both dead, if they were alive- still no. Phone Post 3.0

I have housed my brother for the last two years during a custody case that finally ended. Glad it worked out well and now I get to walk around in my boxers again when he's gone. Haha Phone Post 3.0

An extended family living under the same roof or very close to each other was the norm in human history.

When did that change?

even if I was single

I did it after I got my Masters degree with a kid. Had a job set up after graduation and it fell through two weeks before I graduated. Only option was to move back with my parents. Had no money and no job. It all worked out though. Ended up getting a job and buying my parents house. Phone Post 3.0

Hell yes.

Fewer bills. Mom's cookin. Watchin sports with dad all the time. Extra eyes on the kids.

All they need to do is get my wife on board.

I hope not, I'm really fortunate the way it's all worked out. It's not some fairy tale there has been times when it's been difficult and there's been times where I've thought why did I ever leave home. I left for the oil rigs when I was 18 and was just drifting working with no direction I worked there for a year after I moved in with him and he gave me some great advice and direction.

Just last Sunday my youngest son arrived at 6:44 pm and my dad was there we got back home around 10:30 and at 11 I was loading him into the car with my oldest son rushing him to the emergency because he thought he was having a heart attack. Stayed awake allnight with him and the entire next day taking care of him and my son, I'd do all again naked if I had to

Here he is with both my sons minutes after they arrived

Voted up for taking care of your dad.

I cannot post the pictures, nor figure out how to access the myself.  I get an error.

What you want to cut-and-paste for a blue is the thing on Photobucket that says "direct."  Then a blue can post the pics.
