This is a super, super fight that will probably make the SpikeTV broadcast for UFC 108. I think this will be fireworks. I like both guys but hope Rory wins.

Let's breakdown the fighters and discuss.

Markham's best wins, Brad Blackburn, Mike Pyle, and Pat Healy...

Kampmann's best wins, Condit, Laites, McFedries,

I think Rory hits harder but Martin is technically a better striker (hands). Martin is better at kickboxing

I also think Martin has better bjj. I would say wrestlin is equal, not a strong suite for either guy.

 How many times has Markham been KO'ed?

he was ko'ed by Dan Hardy and Brett Cooper in the last two years. Other than that he has been TKo'ed by Chris Wilson and Trevor Garrett. So basically he's been ko'ed twice in 20 fights. I wouldn't say he has a bad chin, but his go for broke style leaves openings where he has got caught.

Spencer you mentioned possibly going to the WEC before. Still interested? The UFC's division is full of wrestlers, seems like you could make a run at the title in the WEC.

Turning down the Grant fight was smart. Kampman was on track for a title shot (or a contender) and had beaten guys like Leites, Drew, and Jorge Riveria. TJ Grant had fought on a dark match and no one knew him at all. It was a big step back from someone in Martin's position and not a smart fight to take.

Yeah, and he lost to PAUL DALEY who is a name and a guy everyone knows and respects. There isn't a lot of shame in losing to him. What would have happen to Martin's stock if he got ko'ed by a no name TJ Grant??
