Not being a fan is NOT hating on Rockhold.

I never took any pleasure watching him lose, in fact, Iā€™ve felt bad for him ever since UFC 199.

I knew how good Rockhold wasā€¦ but tonight he showed how tough he is, and his guts and heart, heā€™s a person with no quit .

They shouldnā€™t have interviewed him in my opinion , he was obviously drained from the fight and mentally exhausted, his body was shutting down and he probably felt like hell. Of course heā€™s going to feel like ā€œwhy the fuck do I do this!??ā€ At the moment,

But I think Luke will go back and reflect and see that he did make improvements. He was almost finished in the first round but showed composure and knew how to survive that initial onslaught.

Luke is going to get a ton of love and hopefully a raise from the UFC, the middle weight division is pretty thin. Iā€™d like to see 3-4 more fights from Luke

I donā€™t understand how missing weight can be a cardinal sin, but showing up this not ready to fight 3 rounds from a former champ is being applauded? Good for him for not getting finished, but he lost every round?

I thought he won round two (I think). The whole fight was competitive. Costa just looked better because he wasnā€™t tired.

Pretty sure he has anxiety coming into the cage and had an adrenaline dump as a result. Factor that in with altitude and the grappling exchanges and Iā€™d say itā€™s somewhat understandable

Horrible fight by Luke. He should have been warned for evading. That was basically a Kahib Starnes with a few shots.

Was it the broken nose that did this (from a well placed nasty right ftom Costa in round 1), or was he truly gassed? Hard to believe a vet like Rockhold would have an adrenaline dump like that. His nose was busted.

Tf u talking about? He wasnt applauding missing weight. Luke was damn near ready to quit in the FIRST fuckin round because he was tired. Hes 37 not 57. Its great that he gutted it out but thats the type of shit u see in local.shows where dudes got full time jobs and figjt on the side cuz they love it.

Costa and Luke are both great but Luke just does not have the well rounded skill set to be top dog anymore. Competition is too good now

This is true as well. Luke was fucking completely gassed at the beginning of round 2. Costa still couldnā€™t finish him. Lukeā€™s cardio was very lacking last night and it was surprising

Luke has an over reliance on kicks as well. I get those are his strength but damn ya got to mix it up a little bit lol
