Matt Hume's Pride Judging tutorial and session

First off everytime Matt Hume speaks I'm more and more impressed with the guy.

He is the sometimes the oft forgottten master trainer/genius of champions in this Greg Jackson/Ceasar Gracie focused world of MMA today.

Secondly I was watching the old pride events again and I hadn't seen his at home judging analysis sit in for a long time.

I think this is something that should be used in some form in todays MMA with whoever can do and can go in depth from the official criteria's perspective.

And also have Hume guest Commentate when he doesn't have a fighter to corner, I think his insights and overall intelligence make for unique and compelling insights.

WAR The Wizard!

this is one of the best Commentary teams I've ever heard

Bas Professor Wizard

This needs to happen again

Hume may know more about MMA than any man alive.

Kirik -  Hume may know more about MMA than any man alive.

I would assume this to be true unless given overwhelming proof to the contrary.

Chris - Tom Lawlor is 4-3 in the UFC, arguably 5-2 if not for the awful Simpson decision.
Mayhem is 0-3 in the UFC.

There is no prejudice. Being a performer outside the cage is acceptable if you win in the cage.

i quoted this post because it was lathered in truth.

The mma knowledge he's forgotten is more than some people even know.

PRIDE had a guy like Matt Hume to figure out the criteria and to judge fights then you have the NSAC bringing in guys like Cecil Peoples over and over again.

.

I've always looked up to Matt Hume. He trained Hayato Sakurai during the Bushido 9 era.
