Great Podcast. I find it funny how retired fighters look back on their experiences with Joe Silva and not too many look back on it kindly. Matt Serra is a straight shooter so he wasn’t going to censor it.
I remember at the time thinking the same thing as both Serra and Lytle being fans of both and not seeing the point in a rematch at that stage. Then to hear that Joe Silva had to convince Lytle to take the fight and then called up Serra right after and said Lytle has been begging for it for years. Kind of funny but pretty dirty.
Would love to hear you guys with more fighters or even a Podcast talking about the behind the scenes of Joe Silva.
