My thoughts exactly. I don't want to see Lidell against Silva. Lidell versus Shogun is the matchup I want to see. Shogun is like the upgrade to Silva and he matches up well with Chuck.
Great idea. I think MMA needs as many weight divisions as boxing.
I particularly love the idea of the lower weight classes. With the rumour of that Japanese shrimp-size boxer moving to MMA, it'd be unfair for him to compete against giants like Sherk, Pulver, Kid etc. Lets get the Strawweight, Light-Fly, Fly and Super-Fly divisions up and running.
I was initially worried that they'd only be one champion at each weight, but once all the major promotions adopt these necessary changes, they can all have their 'undisputed' champion.
