I respect the shit out of Frankie and what he has done throughout his career but I think Max is a horrible match up for him. After seeing their face off and how much bigger Max is I can't imagine Frank even making it the distance. Max is going to use that reach to put a vicious beating on him. A beating unlike one we have ever seen Frankie take yet. Anyone think Frankie has a chance.
Yeah, the size difference at the face off was nuts. Looked like three different weight classes between them.
I'm a big Frankie fan, but it's hard to see him winning this one. That said, he's surprised me plenty of times before.
The level changes in this are huge

max is skinny as shit and him wearing the hoodie gave the illusion he was huge compared to Frankie I think
I agree with everyone though I believe max get the finish
It may play out like a fight between Little Mac and Don Flamenco. The question is can Frankie maintain the 1-2 combination to put Max on his heels?

But Max is far from Don Flamenco.
He's fast, accurate, and has great footwork. He's proven over and over he has the best hands in the featherweight division.
Ill Portents -Frankie is one of my all-time favorites, but I don't see how he can win this. Only if he can consistently take Max down and keep him there while ground and pounding, but Max is twice his size and has a huge reach advantage, so takedowns will probably not be easy.
Yep. Hopefully he surprises.
Edgar by decision. Max usually beats guys with volume and cardio. Frankie can do that too and he can mix in takedowns here and there to steal rounds.
Once he finally gets the 145 strap I hope he goes down to 135 and kicks Cejudos ass to become the triple champ and pound for pound greatest fighter of all times.
He needs to hurry up though, the clock is ticking
Gonna look like the Ortega fight.
We all love Frankie, the guy is incredible and probably on everyone's list of all time favourites but Max is scarily good. Just hope it gets stopped early if it starts to go that way because Frankie is too tough for his own good and I'd like to see him fight within the next 12 months.
Its the right time for an upset. Max's timing will be off coming back down to 145 and he just got smashed.
I love Frankie, he is my all time favorite. But he is super fucked in this fight. I can't make imagine any situation where he wins this fight.
I like Frankie's chances..... hes got as good a chance as anyone else at 145

Not the favorite obviously but he can do it

I couldn't think of another fighter who resembles Max on Punch-Out in some way. Should I have inserted Super Macho Man or Von Kaiser?
I picked Ortega over Max so I obviously suck when it comes to picking fights, but IIRC Max hasn't fought a takedown kind of fighter has he?

This.. I got Frankie winning by stoppage in the 4th
Frankie is one of my favorite fighters, but I'm not sure he can even reach Max's head without a stool. Massive size difference.
