Max vs. Frankie in April?

There’s no PPV headliner currently for the April card, and Max is the logical choice given when the rest of the champs fought, and DC not being healthy. I assume Frankie is the most likely opponent? He was booked to fight Max before Max got hurt and Frankie lost to Ortega.

If not Frankie, would have to be Volkanovski, who looked great against Mendes, but most people don’t have a clue who he is. I have to assume Frankie vs. Max, and they have Volkanovski fight someone like Aldo or Ortega?

If Tony Ferguson doesn’t want to wait until November when Khabib wants to fight, they could have Ferguson vs. Piorier as the co-main, and a few more top 10 guys rounding out the main card.

Would you buy Max vs. Frankie with Ferguson vs. Poirier as the co-main?

Don’t see how Frankie wins, but if there’s no other challengers then I guess they could do it.

Frankie has the stamina and the skill to beat anyone at FW. id lay some money down on him.

Only guys that even have a chance against Holloway are Zabit and Frankie, I'd definitely want to see this fight go down before Frankie retires

I was hoping Max would move up. Not too interested in any FW opponent for him.

Frankie is one of those fighters you can’t count out. 

If he pressured max max for takedowns and then make max chase him, maybe he could out point him. 

Frankie made his living off out pointing people. 

Im still pissed he got the nod over BJ when BJ outclassed him.

This happens. Max just smashed the guy who knocked Frankie out less than a year ago and is 3-0 with three stoppage wins against the last two guys to beat Frankie. 

Edgar needs to put a couple wins together to make a fight against max imo

OK, so if not Frankie, then who? Aldo for a 3rd time? Volkanovski with his 1 win against a top 10 guy? There's nobody who has made a rock solid case for title fight, so does Max just not defend? 

As for the post about Max vs. Ferguson for interim title, I'd be into that.
