Nick Diaz is a Champion in MMA. Mayhem is a MTV host for a shitty "MMA" show. If Mayhem can't lose 3 lbs (when he's fought at 170) to fight someone who has accomplished much more in the sport, well that to me sounds like he's scared homie.
From all accounts, the fight was on the table. All Mayhem had to do is say, yeah I will fight. Nick would be moving up 8lbs, Mayhem would be moving down 7lbs, sounds fair to me.
And don't give me that "jumped Mayhem" shit. Mayhem didn't belong in that cage and outside Miller nuthuggers I haven't spoke to a single person (who knows about MMA) that would have expected any kind of different outcome. He tried to rain on someone's parade and ended up face down and fetal getting thumped for it.

Once again, THE FIGHT WAS ON THE TABLE. The offer was there, Miller is in no position to dictate anything. He didn't take the fight, it was his final "I can't lose 3 extra lbs" that ended the fight. That's it. It's over. Mayhem put an end to the possibility of a fight with Diaz due to MAYHEM's weight issues.
As for Strikeforce not being able to put together fights. It's because the whole promotion is puppets. They have about as much control over the ship as EliteXC did.
i cant believe anything miller says. he tried to lie to his fans and everyone else about diaz fighting at 183. when it comes to numbers, miller cant be trusted. personally i need a more reliable source.

Also that shows alot about this situation with Nick. If he wasn't willing to take a 181 catchweight bout he scared homie.
Why? He is a WW champion, a UFC veteran, and a pretty big name in MMA.
Meeting half way is more than reasonable.
If Mayhem can't make it half way, he should STFU.
He should be worried about fighting a legit MW,
avenging a loss to Jacare, or maybe winning a title.

the average SF fan knows Mayhem is a character on some stupid tv show,
who offered nothing to shields and beat Stout who was 1 - 2 in his last 3.
