maybe not yet but he is real close to becoming Champ....his striking is better then most including BJ's and he can keep it standing with anybody...he will be tough for any and everyone.
Considering he had no striking at all in his previous fights and tonight looked pretty good standing, he's obviously a fast learner.

He looked pretty comfortable and composed mixing his wrestling and boxing.
We just have to give guys time for shits sake. In no other sport, do we get all over youngsters or those new to the pro leagues and expect them to do everything within a year or so of debuting.
Maynard impressed me - such a size and strength advantage then add the top notch wrestling with the vastly improved striking and you got another legit LW Title Contender; hopefully he gets the Diego/Guida winner or Sherk if Sherk beats Edgar.
