I read an article coukd years ago that had athletes in their 40’s who made tens of millions and are already broke.
There was a dozen or so named.
They started restaurants mostly cause they were told it was safe and some Uncle was in charge of investments… & they didn’t pay taxes.

All an NBA player needs do is put half of what he earns into a bank account he can’t touch for 20 years. By then it’ll be double and if he puts half in every year he plays it will come back to him in installments.
