TRUTH. LOL every casual I watched that fight with was rooting for Hatton.
The thing about that fight I'll always remember is Harold Lederman scoring it like it was a competitive fight when in reality Hatton was getting his ass kicked.

In fairness: Hatton was fighting 2 men that night: Floyd and Joe Cortes. That was some of the worst refereeing I've ever seen. Hatton's only longshot prayer was to tie up and mug Floyd in an ugly fight and Joe Cortes would break them whenever they got within a foot of each other--often when Floyd would initiate the clinching.
and cortez is the ref for floyd/ortiz. when was the last time he reffed a big time main event, its been a while.
Hatton got bullied when people thought he would be the bully..Floyd does a good job of creating distance..it's a one on one fight..Hatton admitted after that Floyd did a better job then he expected on the inside..the crying of Joe Cortez is out played..Mills Lane could of been reffing, wouldn't had stopped Hatton from getting Flatten..
