I just heard recently that this time during the week of Mayweather vs Pacman it was sold out and the cheapest ticket leading into it being sold out was $4,500.
reports are the tickets for Mayweather vs McGregor are still readily available and as low as $1,500.
If this fight breaks records it going to have to be PPV buys, because it's definitely not breaking the gate.
I wish it was sold out. Unfortunately I don't think boxing purists are coming out for it, and probably ordering it at home in the closet. And mma fans can't afford to attend a boxing event live.

3rdAveE - I keep hearing a lot about it trending to beat the ppv record but I just don't see it.
I'd be surprised if this breaks 4 million buys.
I think people are underestimating the casual fans, the ones who don't know shit about the sport but are intrigued by the hype. I know multiple people who have never ordered a fight in their life that want to watch it because of the spectical. It draws in people that aren't usually in.

I hope PPV hits record breaking low.
That will send a message that fans will not spend their hard earned money on marketing nonsense and hopefully prevent future events of the same ilk.
So by the same logic, if this smashes the PPV record or comes near to it, would you shut your mouth and accept that the fans are intrigued by this matchup and no one gives a fuck what the minority crybaby population think?
And my God, if Conor actually wins this fight some of you are going to have to exile this place or forever be known as a complete retard. Either way is good to be fair.
It's gonna break ppv records because bars are charging cover charges as large as $60 a person. The cheapest place in my town is $20 a person. I decided to just have a party because of it and I think many people will do the same which drives up ppv sales

Fortunately we don't have to worry about that second part happening

I hope he does it, I really do. This place would be hilarious for one thing.
