On the post-fight presser video on UFC.com, Drew says that he didn't get any support from MFS for this fight or after his personal tragedy, and that he went to train with Hughes and Lawler and the HIT Sqaud for the fight.
What's up with that? Did he have a falling out with MFS? It seemed like he was taking a shot at them. Is that team just falling apart these days? Drew had been there forever. Seems like all their mainstays are leaving.

Good stuff from Hughes and Lawler. I said for a while now that McFedries has the baddest hands in the MW division, but needs to work more on his all around game.

JDolo-^^^No, i didn't. Drew is one of my favs so i saw all his fights, you can't just judge a guy based on one fight. Cote is the only one to beat him at his own game and everybody else got fucked up when trying to stand with him, even in the other 3 fights he lost in the UFC until they realized they better take his ass down and sub him before they get KO'd too. Another thing people don't realize is having power in your hands like he does can sometimes be a negative because you are so confident that you will finish anyone in a matter of seconds or minutes that you swing for the fences with everything you got in the beginning of the fight which leads to getting tired very fast. Go throw punches with everything you have at a punching bag and let me know how many you get to before you gas. You have to pick your spots.
